Aligned With Immigration New Zealand Requirements
Four-Phase Immigration & Settlement Journey
Safe Haven NZ’s structured approach aligns directly with Immigration New Zealand’s investor visa process, providing coordinated support at each stage from initial assessment to permanent residency.
Phase 1: Consultation & Application Preparation (2-4 months)
We conduct comprehensive eligibility assessment covering source of funds, investment capacity, health requirements, and character criteria. Working with licensed immigration advisers, we coordinate complete application preparation including financial documentation, health certificates, police clearances, and family member documentation. This phase concludes with application submission to Immigration New Zealand.
Phase 2: Application Processing & Approval in Principle (3-6 months)
Immigration New Zealand reviews applications assessing source of funds evidence, health documentation, character requirements, and investment proposals. We maintain communication with Immigration New Zealand, responding to any requests for information and working with immigration advisers to address assessment queries. This phase concludes with Immigration New Zealand granting Approval in Principle.
Phase 3: Investment Transfer & Resident Visa Grant (6-12 months)
Following Approval in Principle, you have six months to transfer nominated investment funds to New Zealand and complete qualifying investments. We coordinate foreign exchange transfers, work with licensed investment managers to execute visa compliant investments, obtain Invest New Zealand approvals where required, and submit investment evidence to Immigration New Zealand. Upon verification of investment completion, Immigration New Zealand grants your resident visa.
Phase 4: Compliance & Permanent Residency (3-5 years ongoing)
Throughout your investment maintenance period (36 months for Growth category, 60 months for Balanced category, or 12-36 months for Business Investor pathways), we coordinate ongoing compliance monitoring, annual reporting to Immigration New Zealand, investment maintenance verification, and physical presence tracking. After 24 months as a resident visa holder, we coordinate your permanent residency application, gathering required evidence and working with immigration advisers to remove section 49 conditions.
